In The Kitchen: Candy Cane Fluffpop with White Chocolate Mousse

As we approach yet another fun-filled holiday season, we all look for creative ways to set our holiday party apart from the rest. Paired with a simple white chocolate mousse, Candy Cane, Fluffpop’s newest flavor creation, will do just that! Our very own Chef Antonia shares her special recipe for a dessert that will have your guests coming back for more.



Serves 6

9 oz – White Chocolate

1/4 cup – Milk

1 1/2 tsp – Peppermint Essence

3 – Large Eggs, separated

1.5 cups – Heavy Cream

To decorate – red food coloring, candy cane sticks, crushed candy canes for rim of glass


  • Heat chocolate, milk, and butter in large metal bowl placed over pot of simmering water until chocolate is melted and mixture smooth. Remove from heat, and stir in peppermint extract.
  • Meanwhile, beat egg whites and salt with electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add sugar, and beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Stir 1 cup egg-white mixture into chocolate mixture until smooth. Fold remaining egg-white mixture into chocolate mixture with spatula until no white streaks remain.
  • If making the pink and white layers, place half the mixture in a separate mixing bowl and fold in food coloring until just combined. Spoon alternating amounts of pink and white mousse into six 1/2-cup capacity serving glasses. Chill for 3-4 hours or overnight in the fridge. To serve, top with extra whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed candy canes.
